In the following sections, we will go through the reasons why we process personal information. There are only a few situations where all of the points are relevant, however, to ensure that all reasons are listed the list is longer than what is relevant for a given client/customer.

Ensure data flow

To distribute the costs related to water and energy it is important to know that the data from your meters arrive at the correct location. We, therefore, need to know where the sensors/meters are located so we can ensure that the network is working as intended, and identify any challenges if one or several sensors disconnects.

Detect leaks

To detect leaks in zones or at private addresses, we depend on information about where the sensor is mounted and what they measure with a resolution of up to once per hour. The data is used to compare with larger zones and highlight any need for action in the network that can contribute to a reduction of leaks, reduce costs, and increase the environmental economy.

Distribute costs

Some customers use Divako to distribute costs. We then need to register who lives in the relevant section and associated address and phone number such that either we or our customer can efficiently communicate with you.

Notifications

In Divako one can enable notifications linked with the sensor status. This can for instance be that a water meter shows high usage during the night when it should not flow water, or that the temperature in a technical room is so low that it puts the equipment at risk of frost damage. To convey the status associated with the sensors to you, we must store personal data.

Send invoice

Divako can send invoices related to costs that are distributed to your section based on meter readings from your meters.

Provide customer service

Divako provides customer service and needs to store information to deliver this in a good and efficient way. This includes being able to handle complaints about equipment.

Data analysis

Divako processes your information for the purpose of analyzing consumption data on behalf of our customers. The analyzes enable the possibility to develop better and more accurate delivery of the services as well as contribute to Divako being able to enhance the service and constantly offer better solutions for our customers. In this context, data is aggregated and to a very small extent individually identifiable.
